About

NateWantsToBattle is the stage name of Nathan Sharp, a Korean-American singer, songwriter and voice actor who built his following through alt-rock covers of anime and video game music on YouTube. He later released original material spanning pop-punk and nerdcore, and sang official songs for franchises including Dragon Ball Super, Sonic the Hedgehog and Pokémon. In 2017 he co-founded the independent label Give Heart Records with Shawn Christmas. After announcing his retirement from music in 2023-2024, he returned to performing with the Phantom Burial Tour - his first live shows in Europe.
