Morbific is a Finnish death metal trio from Kitee, formed in 2020, rooted firmly in the murky tradition of old-school death metal. The band - Jusa Janhonen (bass/vocals), Olli Väkeväinen (guitar) and Onni Väkeväinen (drums) - draws on Autopsy, Mortician and the early Finnish death metal scene. Following their acclaimed debut 'Ominous Seep of Putridity' (2021) and second album 'Squirm Beyond the Mortal Realm' (2022), they released their third record 'Bloom of Abnormal Flesh' in April 2025 via Memento Mori and Me Saco Un Ojo.
