Mogwai 30
Scottish post-rock pioneers Mogwai celebrate 30 years with a concert featuring classic tracks and new material.
Mogwai are a Scottish post-rock band from Glasgow, formed in 1995 by Stuart Braithwaite, Dominic Aitchison and Martin Bulloch. They built their reputation on largely instrumental music that moves between hushed, atmospheric passages and crushing walls of guitar, with early albums 'Mogwai Young Team' (1997) and 'Come On Die Young' (1999) becoming genre landmarks. Alongside their studio work they have composed for film and television - most notably the French series 'Les Revenants' and 'ZeroZeroZero' - and in 2021 topped the UK Albums Chart for the first time with 'As the Love Continues'.
Mogwai has been announced as a headliner of the Green Man Festival 2026, alongside Wolf Alice, Four Tet and Wilco.
Mogwai released the soundtrack for the BBC/Netflix series 'The Bombing of Pan Am 103', recorded in their own Castle of Doom studio in Glasgow.
The eleventh studio album 'The Bad Fire' was released on 24 January 2025 and achieved a Metacritic score of 81/100.
Mogwai performed multiple shows in the Netherlands in February 2025 as part of their first world tour since the pandemic, with stops in Amsterdam, Maastricht and Groningen.
The band announced their 2025 world tour alongside the new single 'God Gets You Back', their first new music in more than two years.
