About

Miss Montreal is the Dutch band fronted by singer-songwriter Sanne Hans, who founded the group in Hardenberg in 2008. Hits such as 'Hoe' (feat. Nielson), 'Till the Sun Comes Up' and a celebrated cover of 'Door de Wind' established her as a fixture in Dutch pop, earning multiple platinum and gold records along with two 3FM Awards for best female vocalist (2014 and 2016). Beyond recording, Hans served three seasons as a coach on The Voice of Holland and as a judge on De Beste Singer-songwriter van Nederland.

Miss Montreal bracht op 4 september 2026 de nieuwe single 'Groot' uit, een popsong over twintig jaar carrière, geschreven samen met Okke Punt en Mus Damé.

Bij de release van 'Groot' kondigde Miss Montreal de theatertournee '20 Jaar Onmeunig Druk' aan, die in maart 2027 start en langs 25 Nederlandse theaters trekt.

Miss Montreal vierde haar twintigjarig jubileum met een uitverkochte show in AFAS Live in Amsterdam op 29 mei 2026.

Miss Montreal speelde in het najaar van 2025 de 'Marathon Theatertour' langs theaters in heel Nederland, waaronder Eindhoven, Amersfoort, Tilburg en Gouda.
