Michelle Sweegers (Tilburg, 1997) is a Dutch concert harpist, composer and writer who blends classical technique with electric sounds and genre-crossing styles. She studied at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, graduating with highest distinction in 2020, and has won prizes at the Prinses Christina Concours and the Concours International de Harpes in Limoges. Sweegers has performed as a soloist with orchestras including the Nörrkoping Symphony Orchestra and the European Philharmonia, and reached a wide audience through the AVROTROS television programme Maestro.
Harp on Fire staat op 14 november 2026 geprogrammeerd in Terneuzen via producent Porgy en Bess.
Sweegers gaf op 5 augustus 2026 een zomeravondconcert in de Dorpskerk van Oostkapelle.
NPO Radio 2 besteedde aandacht aan Sweegers en haar elektrische harp, waarbij ze live 'Omen' van The Prodigy speelde.
Omroep Brabant publiceerde een portret over Sweegers naar aanleiding van haar rol in Maestro en haar aankomende Harp on Fire-tour.
Duo Sweegers & Van Andel speelde een serie nieuwjaarsconcerten onder de naam Winterlicht, waarbij harp en klarinet centraal stonden.
