Mefjus is the stage name of Austrian producer Martin Schober (born 1988, Linz), one of the most respected figures in the neurofunk wing of drum and bass. His debut album 'Emulation' (2014, Critical Music) won the Drum & Bass Arena Award for Best Album, as did his follow-up 'Manifest' (2018, Vision Recordings). He co-founded the label Modus with Camo & Krooked and delivered the acclaimed Fabriclive 95 mix in 2017, built entirely from his own productions.
Mefjus released a remix of 'Dustup' by Noisia & The Upbeats via Vision Recordings.
Mefjus celebrated the ten-year anniversary of 'Emulation' with the remix EP 'Emulation X' on Critical Music, featuring contributions from Enei, Calyx and SMG.
Mefjus created a thirty-minute mix for BBC Radio 1, largely composed of his own productions.
The single 'Sientelo' (with Camo & Krooked) reached the 40th position in the British UK Singles Sales Chart.
