Mauro Picotto (born 25 December 1966 in Cavour, near Turin) is an Italian DJ and producer who broke through internationally in the late 1990s with trance and techno anthems including "Lizard", "Iguana" and "Komodo (Save a Soul)". He was the first DJ to mix live on BBC's Top of the Pops and ranked among the world's top ten DJs around the turn of the millennium. Since 2003 he has run his own club night Meganite - for many years a fixture at Privilege Ibiza - and releases music on his own Bakerloo and Alchemy labels. With over 700 productions and seven million records sold worldwide, he remains one of the most influential figures in European club music.
Mauro Picotto released the single "Like This Like That" in April 2026 together with Nifra via Armada Music.
In March 2026, Picotto performed in Dublin as part of a St. Patrick's weekend program with trance classics.
