Martine Gutierrez is an American artist and performer working across photography, video and performance. Her practice centers on identity, gender and representation, often through elaborately staged self-portraits. She gained wide attention with her 2018 project "Indigenous Woman", a self-published magazine that parodies advertising imagery.
