Marsyas Baroque is a German-Spanish all-female quartet specialising in 17th- and 18th-century early music on period instruments. The four musicians - Paula Pinn (recorders, historical bassoon), María Carrasco Gil (baroque violin), Konstanze Waidosch (baroque cello, viola da gamba) and Sara Johnson Huidobro (harpsichord, organ) - came together in 2019 for the German Music Competition, winning a scholarship from the German Music Council and first prize at the Biagio Marini Competition. Their 2024 debut album *Dieupart & Bach: A Suite Connection* received widespread acclaim from broadcasters including Deutschlandfunk, MDR and RTVE.

The ensemble launched in 2025 a new interdisciplinary project around the Mexican poet Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, with newly commissioned compositions, light design and theater.
Radio3 (rbb) praised the debut album for the perfect interplay and the carefully worked out ornamentations of the ensemble.
The debut album *Dieupart & Bach: A Suite Connection* was released on 6 March 2024 and was broadcast by Deutschlandfunk, MDR, rbb, BR, SWR, Bremen Zwei, RTVE and opus 100.7.
Marsyas Baroque won in 2019 the first prize of the Biagio-Marini competition in Neuburg an der Donau and received a scholarship from the Deutscher Musikrat.
