Marshall Jefferson is an American DJ and producer from Chicago, widely regarded as one of the founding figures of house music. His 1986 track "Move Your Body" - often called the first house anthem built around a piano melody - cemented his place in dance music history. He has remained active on the international club circuit ever since.
