Marduk is a Swedish black metal band from Norrköping, formed in 1990. Known for a relentless, high-speed playing style and lyrics centred on war, death and anti-Christian themes, they became one of Europe's most recognisable extreme metal acts. Landmark albums such as Panzer Division Marduk (1999) cemented their reputation, and with fifteen studio albums to their name - most recently Memento Mori (2023) on Century Media - they remain one of the genre's most active forces.
