Marc Houle (born 1972 in Windsor, Ontario) is a Canadian techno producer and live act who grew up on the doorstep of Detroit. He broke through on Richie Hawtin's Minus label with his debut album 'Bay of Figs', then co-founded the independent label Items & Things with Magda and Troy Pierce. Now based in Berlin, he is known for fully live hardware sets built from his own productions, blending minimal techno with industrial and new wave influences.
Marc Houle released the single 'Funky Bassline' in March 2026 via the label Slacker, with a remix by Brazilian producer Beltran.
Meant Records published 'Magical Ability' by Marc Houle in August 2026 as part of the compilation series 'The Statemeants'.
In December 2025, Houle's remix of 'Wild Ride' by Remain & daWad appeared on Meant Records.
In July 2025, Marc Houle released the 'Was ist Das EP' on Meant Records, a four-track release featuring singles such as 'Microman', 'Walk Sign is On' and 'Breakout'.
In March 2026, Houle played a release party in Marseille for Meant Records, followed by a live performance in Lyon at Le Sucre.
