Maarten van Rossem (born 1943 in Zeist) is a Dutch historian, author and media personality, formerly professor of American history at Utrecht University. He became a household name through talkshow appearances, documentaries and thirteen years as the sole jury member on the quiz show De Slimste Mens, and has long toured the country with sold-out theatre lectures. His daily podcast with Tom Jessen is widely regarded as the most-listened-to news podcast in the Netherlands.
