Lucky Fonz III is the stage name of Otto Wichers (born 1981 in Gouda), a Dutch singer-songwriter, theatre maker and novelist who grew up in Nijmegen before settling in Amsterdam. He won the Grote Prijs van Nederland in the singer-songwriter category in 2006 and has since released nine studio albums, ranging from intimate guitar folk to eclectic detours through hip-hop and happy hardcore. VPRO's 3voor12 named him one of the most influential artists in the Netherlands, largely on the strength of his live shows.
