Lucien Foort is a Rotterdam-based DJ and producer who has been a fixture of the Dutch and international dance scene since the early 1990s. Classically trained as a saxophonist, he broke through with the rave anthem 'Quadrophonia' (1991) and went on to release music on labels including Toolroom, Bedrock and Armada Music - his club track 'Bleeep!' held the number-one spot on the Beatport Tech House chart for seven months. In recent years he has returned to his underground house and techno roots, playing festivals such as Boothstock and Wasteland while running the educational Analog Kitchen project.
Foort performed a 'Non Linear Mix' set on August 2, 2025 during Summer of Love at Thuishaven Loods, Amsterdam.
Foort performed at Radion Amsterdam on October 26, 2024 for the Wasteland Halloween event, where he played a 4.5-hour set.
His single 'Bang Goes the Bass' was released in 2024 via the label Percep-tion.
Foort performed at Boothstock Festival 2024; the recording of his set was listened to more than 4,600 times on SoundCloud.
