Loïs Lane is an Amsterdam pop and rock band founded in 1984 by Monique Klemann and guitarist Tijn Touber. Her sister Suzanne joined in 1985, and the two have been the band's core ever since. Their breakthrough came with the 1988 title track for the film Amsterdamned, followed by a string of Dutch top-10 hits and a Zilveren Harp award. Prince invited them to open his European Nude Tour in 1990 and later produced tracks for the band.
