
Beleef 't Overdag: Loes Luca - QUARTET ROYAAL

Loes Luca (born 18 October 1953 in Rotterdam) is a Dutch actress, singer and comedian with a career spanning more than four decades in theatre, film and television. She made her debut with Amsterdam theatre group Orkater and went on to build a wide-ranging body of work, from her revue band Nénette et les Zézettes at the touring festival De Parade to film roles in Ja zuster, nee zuster and De Noorderlingen. In 2002 she won the Rembrandt Award; her 2019 film Mi Vida drew over 100,000 cinema-goers and earned the Golden Film Award.
Loes Luca goes on tour with The Ramblers - the oldest professional jazz orchestra in the Netherlands - performing a repertoire of Dutch classics.
With the performance 'Onderweg van hier naar daar', Loes Luca together with Teleruptor brings the story of Marie Galante, set to music by Kurt Weill, to Dutch theaters.
In the theater season 2021-2022, Luca played the lead role in the pitch-black comedy 'Uit het hoofd', written by Maria Goos.
The film Mi Vida (2019) won the Golden Film Award after more than 100,000 cinema visitors, and also received the Gold Remi Award at the WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival.
