Lize Spit is a Belgian author, born in 1988 in Borgloon. Her debut novel 'Het smelt' (2016) became a major bestseller across the Netherlands and Flanders and was translated into more than twenty languages. Her writing is known for its intense, often dark exploration of youth, guilt and loss.
