Liza Ferschtman (born 1979 in Hilversum) is a Dutch violinist who performs internationally as both soloist and chamber musician. She grew up in a Russian-Jewish family of professional musicians and trained at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, the Curtis Institute in Philadelphia, and the Guildhall School in London. In 2006 she received the Nederlandse Muziekprijs, the highest Dutch music award, and from 2007 to 2021 she served as artistic director of the Delft Chamber Music Festival, transforming it into an interdisciplinary event of international standing.
Liza Ferschtman released her debut album on Rubicon Classics: the Brahms Violin Concerto and the Suk Fantasy, with the Brussels Philharmonic conducted by Elias Grandy.
