American singer-songwriter Liana Flores performs at TivoliVredenburg.
Liana Flores (born 2 June 1999) is a British-Brazilian singer-songwriter raised in rural Norfolk, whose sound weaves bossa nova - absorbed from her Brazilian mother's record collection - with British folk and indie pop. Her song 'rises the moon' went viral on TikTok in 2021 without her knowledge and has since accumulated close to a billion streams, leading to a deal with Verve Records. Her 2024 debut album Flower of the soul, produced by Noah Georgeson, cemented her reputation as a key figure in the current bossa nova revival.
Liana Flores announced her new EP And so it goes… released on September 4, 2026 via Verve Records and recorded in Los Angeles with producer Paul Butler.
She shared the new single 'Silvershoes', written from the perspective of a waitress in Hollywood who dreams of a different life.
Flores announced a series of international headliner shows in North America and Europe, including a performance at the Verve Records 70th Anniversary Show in Central Park.
Earlier in 2026, Flores collaborated with bossa nova musician Roberto Menescal on 'Midnight Lullaby' and with Mei Semones on 'Koneko'.
On October 25, 2024, Flower of the soul (Full Bloom) was released, an extended version of her debut album with two new songs.
