Levellers: Celebrating 35 Years of Levelling the Land
Levellers celebrate 35 years of their landmark album 'Levelling The Land' with a live show in Maastricht.
Levellers are a British folk-punk and rock band from Brighton, formed in 1988 and named after the seventeenth-century political movement. Their 1991 album Levelling the Land and the single 'One Way' built them a devoted following, and in 1994 they headlined Glastonbury's Pyramid Stage to a record crowd of 300,000. The 1995 album Zeitgeist went straight to number one in the UK, cementing their place as one of Britain's most enduring alternative acts. They have released thirteen studio albums and continue to record and tour.
The band released the new single 'Alive' to celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of Zeitgeist.
On 7 November 2025, a remixed and remastered anniversary edition of Zeitgeist was released via Warner Music, on 2LP and 3CD.
The band toured the United Kingdom with the Zeitgeist 30th Anniversary Tour, with five shows in Southampton, Wolverhampton, London, Derby and Manchester.
The Levellers Collective - the acoustic variant of the band - played a tour of seventeen evenings through British theaters, coupled with a new live album and dvd.
The band announced the Levellers Collective Spring 2025 tour, together with a live album and dvd recorded in 2023 at the Hackney Empire in London.
