Liverpool blues-rock artist Laurence Jones performs an intimate acoustic solo concert, reconnecting with his musical roots.
Laurence Jones (Liverpool, 1992) is a British blues rock guitarist and singer-songwriter who broke through at a young age and has since become one of the most recognised names in the UK blues scene. He has won multiple British Blues Awards - including 'Young Artist of the Year' three years running - and holds a place in the British Blues Hall of Fame. Music Radar ranked him among the world's top 10 blues-rock guitarists, and Buddy Guy once compared him to 'a young Eric Clapton'. He has shared stages with Van Morrison, Jeff Beck and Ringo Starr, and has sold over 50,000 albums worldwide.
Jones released his first solo acoustic album 'On My Own' on January 23, 2026 via his own label Ron Records.
Jones announced 'On My Own' as his most personal project, written during a serious flare-up of Crohn's disease.
Jones founded his own label Ron Records, named after his deceased grandfather, and organized his 2026 solo tour himself.
Jones went on an extensive UK tour visiting 31 small, independent venues in collaboration with the Music Venues Trust.
The album 'Bad Luck & The Blues' reached number 1 position on the official UK Jazz & Blues Chart.
