About

Last Dinosaurs are an indie rock band from Brisbane, Australia, formed in 2007 by singer Sean Caskey and drummer Dan Koyama, later joined by guitarist Lachlan Caskey and a bassist. The band's name comes from the song "Last Dinosaur" by Japanese group The Pillows. They broke through in 2012 with the album In a Million Years, which reached number eight on the Australian albums chart on the strength of singles such as "Honolulu" and "Time & Place". Since then the group has released four more albums, including the concept record KYORYU (2024) and Wellnxss (2026), a re-recorded version of their 2015 album Wellness.
