About
LA NOVIA is a new international band formed by Den Haag-based trumpeter Maite Hontelé and bassist Adinda Meertins, blending Latin and pop into a contemporary, dance-ready sound. Hontelé spent over a decade building a salsa career in Colombia, earned two Latin Grammy nominations, and became a familiar face on Dutch television. Meertins won a Latin Grammy with the Colombian pop band Monsieur Periné. Together they write the material and steer the band's artistic direction.
