La Finesse String Quartet is a German string quartet made up of four female string players who blend classical repertoire with contemporary genres, from film music to pop. The ensemble places composers such as Brahms, Mozart and Beethoven in fresh, modern contexts. In the Netherlands they are best known as the resident string partners of The Billy Joel Experience in the theatrical concert series Nocturne.
