Koyaanisqatsi (1982) is an American documentary by director Godfrey Reggio, with no dialogue or narrative. It pairs sweeping imagery of nature and urban life with a minimalist score by Philip Glass. The title comes from the Hopi language and roughly translates as "life out of balance".
