Kerri Chandler (East Orange, New Jersey, 1969) is an American DJ and producer widely regarded as one of deep house's defining figures, active for over three decades. Raised in a jazz-musician family and shaped by the legendary Club Zanzibar scene in Newark, he built a soulful, gospel-inflected sound that has influenced countless producers. Beyond the DJ booth and studio, he founded the labels Madhouse, MadTech and Kaoz Theory, nurturing talent from Roy Ayers and Dennis Ferrer to Jamie Jones and Seth Troxler.
