About

Kenyatta Hill is the son of Joseph Hill, founder of the Jamaican roots reggae trio Culture. After his father's death in 2006, he stepped up as frontman alongside original member Albert Walker and Telford Nelson, keeping the band's conscious reggae legacy alive. His voice bears a striking resemblance to his father's, and he brings the same spiritual intensity to classics like *Two Sevens Clash*. In 2007 he also released the solo album *Pass the Torch*, combining seven of his own tracks with seven previously unreleased recordings by his father.
