K3 is a Belgian girl group founded in 1998 by producer Niels William, and one of the best-known children's acts in the Benelux. Named after the first initials of original members Karen Damen, Kristel Verbeke and Kathleen Aerts, the group is produced by Studio 100 and has seen several lineup changes over the years, each time through televised talent competitions. Alongside music, K3 releases films, theatre shows and musicals. In 2025-2026 the original trio reunited as K3 Originals for a record-breaking concert series in Antwerp and Rotterdam.
The reunion show of K3 Originals was on 11 April 2026 available as a watch party to stream via Videoland, while the group performed seventeen concerts in Rotterdam Ahoy.
The two-part Videoland documentary series 'K3 Originals: The Story of Karen, Kristel and Kathleen' won a Kastaar in January 2026 in the category Newcomer of the Year.
The two-part documentary series 'K3 Originals: The Story of Karen, Kristel and Kathleen' premiered on 6 November 2025 on Videoland (Netherlands) and VTM GO+ (Belgium).
After the sell-out of 22 shows in a few hours, Studio 100 announced additional concerts in Rotterdam Ahoy (from 7 April 2026) and Sportpaleis Antwerp (from 21 May 2026).
On 24 March 2025, the reunion of the original K3 - Karen, Kristel and Kathleen - was officially announced under the name K3 Originals, with shows in Sportpaleis Antwerp and Rotterdam Ahoy.
