Josh Rouse is an American singer-songwriter born in 1972 in Nebraska, known for warm folk-pop rooted in the soft-rock sounds of the seventies. He broke through with 1972 (2003) and Nashville (2005), won a Spanish Goya Award for best film song in 2014, and spent over a decade living in Valencia before returning to Nashville in 2018. NPR has called him one of contemporary music's most engaging singer-songwriters.
