Joris Voorn, Nicky Elisabeth
Electronic music night with Joris Voorn and Nicky Elisabeth spinning at TivoliVredenburg, running late into the early morning.
Joris Voorn (born 25 February 1977) is a Dutch DJ and producer from Rotterdam, now based in Amsterdam, who has built a two-decade career at the intersection of techno and deep house. He co-owns the Amsterdam labels Rejected and Green with Edwin Oosterwal, and runs the Spectrum project - a label, event series and globally syndicated radio show. His six studio albums span from 'Future History' (2004) to the ambient companion piece 'Melatonin' (2026), and he is a regular headliner at Awakenings, Tomorrowland and clubs worldwide.
Joris Voorn played a b2b-set with Cassian on the Freedom Stage of Tomorrowland (weekend 2, 26 July 2026) and performed shortly before that at the Awakenings Festival with Kevin de Vries (11 July 2026).
Voorn released his ambient album 'Melatonin' on 12/13 March 2026, coinciding with World Sleep Day, and presented it live in a 360°-show in the ARTIS Planetarium Amsterdam for 320 visitors.
'Melatonin' was announced as a deliberate counterweight to the dancefloor-oriented studio album 'Serotonin' (2025): while that album looked outward, the new work focuses on atmosphere and sound development.
In July 2025, 'Serotonin' was released, Voorn's fifth studio album - twenty years after his debut 'Future History' - featuring vocal collaborations with, among others, Jan Blomqvist, Tom Walker and White Lies.
On 24 October 2026, Voorn is on the line-up of 'Joris Voorn presents Trip to Galaxy' at Awakenings in the Sugarfactory Amsterdam, together with Jeff Mills and others.
