Joost Zoeteman is a Dutch jazz guitarist working at the crossroads of jazz tradition, gypsy influences and contemporary improvisation. Together with bassist Bart Tarenskeen and drummer Wim de Vries, he leads the Joost Zoeteman Trio, a group praised for its melodic playing and tight interplay. Their album Standard - No Standard pairs fresh takes on jazz standards with original compositions.
