Jools Holland (born Julian Miles Holland, 24 January 1958 in Blackheath, London) is an English pianist, composer, bandleader and television presenter. He first came to prominence as keyboardist with Squeeze before founding his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra in 1987 - a large ensemble he has toured and recorded with ever since. He is widely known as the long-running host of the BBC series Later... with Jools Holland and the annual New Year's Eve special Jools' Annual Hootenanny. In 2024 he reached the top of the UK Albums Chart for the first time with Swing Fever, a big-band collaboration with Rod Stewart.
