Johnny Jewel is an American composer, multi-instrumentalist and visual artist who works exclusively with analogue equipment. He runs the influential label Italians Do It Better and is a member of several acts on its roster, including Chromatics and Desire. His soundtrack work for the neo-noir film Drive (2011) brought him wide recognition, with 'Under Your Spell' becoming a global standout.
