Jinjer

About

Jinjer is a Ukrainian metal band from Donetsk, formed in its current lineup in 2009 around vocalist Tatiana Shmailyuk and guitarist Roman Ibramkhalilov. Their sound blends groove metal, djent and progressive metal, with Shmailyuk's ability to switch between clean singing and guttural growls at the heart of their identity. The 2016 single 'Pisces' brought them international recognition, and five studio albums on Napalm Records later, they have accumulated over 250 million streams and views globally. Since Russia's 2022 invasion of Ukraine, the band has continued touring worldwide while actively raising funds for humanitarian aid in their home country.
