About

Jethro Tull is a British rock band founded in 1967, known for blending progressive rock, folk and blues with Ian Anderson's distinctive flute playing at the centre. Albums such as Aqualung (1971) and Thick as a Brick (1972) brought them worldwide recognition. The band won a Grammy Award in 1988 and, after a brief hiatus in the early 2010s, has returned with a run of new studio albums in the 2020s.
