Bleak Squad (AUS) + Jess Ribeiro (AUS)
Australian supergroup Bleak Squad featuring Mick Turner, Mick Harvey, Adalita and Marty Brown plays noir rock at dB's. Opener is singer-songwriter Jess Ribeiro.
Jess Ribeiro is a Melbourne-based Australian singer-songwriter whose music spans alt-country, folk noir and indie-pop. She collaborated with producer Mick Harvey (Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds) and sang backing vocals on Nick Cave's Push The Sky Away Tour. Across four albums - from her acclaimed debut 'My Little River' (2012) to 'Summer of Love' (2024) - she has consistently reinvented her sound, and has toured alongside Angel Olsen, Kurt Vile, Courtney Barnett and Aldous Harding.
Jess Ribeiro announces a Europe and UK tour as support for Australian supergroup Bleak Squad, with a performance at Le Guess Who? in Utrecht on November 8, 2026.
Ribeiro releases 'Mixtape' via Labelman: a collection of eight demos and b-sides that previously did not end up on an album.
Her fourth album 'Summer of Love' is released on April 12, 2024 via Labelman and is positively received by Rolling Stone Australia.
'Summer of Love' is named Bandcamp Album of the Day on September 18, 2024.
