About

Jeff Mills (Detroit, 1963) is one of the most influential figures in techno history. As radio DJ 'The Wizard', co-founder of Underground Resistance, and founder of Axis Records in 1992, he helped define the Detroit techno sound. His work extends well beyond the club: he has composed soundtracks for Fritz Lang silent films, collaborated with orchestras, and in 2017 was awarded France's Ordre des Arts et des Lettres.
