Piraten Feest
Pirate Party at Switch with performances by Bram Bongers, Jannes and Motje.
Jannes Wolters (born 26 June 1973 in Emmen) is a Dutch levenslied singer who performs under the name Jannes. He grew up in a musical family and broke through nationally in 2002 with his second album Van Casablanca naar Napoli. Four of his albums have reached number one on the Dutch Album Top 100, and his nickname 'King of the Pirates' reflects the pirate radio stations that championed him early in his career.
Jannes released the new single 'Dans tot de morgen met mij' on 1 April 2026, a summery track with Greek influences, written by Martin Sterken and produced by Emile Hartkamp and Norus Padidar.
On 20 March 2026 it was announced that Jannes returns to Rotterdam Ahoy on 30 and 31 October 2026 for a brand new show; the Saturday evening sold out quickly.
The singles 'Adio Amore Adio' and 'Zwevend naar 't geluk' received a gold record on 20 March 2026.
During his jubilee concert at Rotterdam Ahoy on 10 October 2025, Jannes was appointed honorary citizen of Emmen.
Jannes celebrated his 25-year jubilee with two completely sold-out concerts at Rotterdam Ahoy on 9 and 10 October 2025.
