About
Jan Paternoster is the vocalist and guitarist of Belgian garage rock duo Black Box Revelation, which he founded in 2005 alongside drummer Dries Van Dijck in Dilbeek. The band broke through with their debut Set Your Head on Fire (2007) and built an international reputation through support slots with Iggy Pop and Jane's Addiction, as well as a 2012 appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman. Across six albums - from the raw Silver Threats to the more eclectic Poetic Rivals (2023) - Paternoster has remained the creative engine of one of Belgium's most respected live acts.
