Jaco Appelman (born 1965) is co-founder of the Bio Inspired Innovation programme at Utrecht University, where he teaches and researches bio-inspired change. His background spans development studies and management studies at several universities. His work centres on how natural systems - refined over millions of years - can inform innovation and economic thinking.
