Internal Bleeding is an American slam death metal band from Long Island, New York, founded in 1991. They are widely credited with coining the term 'slam' and pioneering the subgenre alongside Suffocation and Pyrexia. Their 1995 debut Voracious Contempt helped define the genre; after a hiatus from 2005 to 2011, the band has remained active and released their seventh studio album, Settle All Scores, in 2025.
Internal Bleeding released their seventh studio album Settle All Scores via Maggot Stomp, with guest contributions from among others Sherwood Webber (Skinless) and former singers Joe Marchese, Jay Lowe and Frank Rini.
The band announced a series of international tour dates for the first half of 2026, including a co-headliner in the United Kingdom and Ireland with Party Cannon and performances at European festivals.
Internal Bleeding confirmed a performance at the Death Feast Open Air in Andernach, Germany (August 20-22, 2026) and at the Incineration Festival in London (May 2, 2026).
The band performed at Milwaukee Metal Fest 2024 and also confirmed a return to the festival in June 2026.
