Finnish blues artist Ina Forsman takes the stage at Willem Twee Fabriek in 's-Hertogenbosch.
Ina Forsman (born 1994 in Helsinki) is a Finnish-born, Berlin-based singer-songwriter who blends blues, soul, funk and R&B. She won the Finnish Blues Challenge in 2013, signed to Ruf Records, and broke through internationally with her Austin-recorded debut album in 2016. Her expressive contralto - equally capable of a raw wail and a wry croon - has established her as one of the leading voices in the European roots scene.
Ina Forsman released her album After Dark Hour on April 11, 2025 via Jazzhaus Records, recorded in Helsinki with producer Michael Bleu.
After Dark Hour combines retro soul, funk and Motown influences with cinematic strings and gospel choirs - Forsman's most personal album to date.
Forsman went on a European tour to promote After Dark Hour, with shows in the Netherlands, Germany and France.
In 2019, Forsman moved from Helsinki to Berlin, where she has lived and worked since.
