Ida van Dril is a Dutch theatre maker and puppeteer whose work combines live performance with puppet play. She has been praised by de Volkskrant and De Theaterkrant for the vitality she brings to her puppets. In The Whizzkid of Oz she retells the classic Wizard of Oz story in a contemporary setting, aimed at children aged 7 and up.
