Ian Pooley (real name Ian Pinnekamp, born 1973 in Mainz, Germany) has been a fixture of the European house and techno underground since 1993. He built his reputation through Force Inc. and later V2 Records before founding his own Pooled Music label, releasing albums that blend deep house with Brazilian rhythms, funk and soul. His remix credits span Daft Punk, The Cardigans and Green Velvet, and he has played everywhere from Panoramabar to Glastonbury.
