Hunee, born Hun Choi in Seoul and raised in Bochum, West Germany, is a DJ and producer who cut his teeth working in Berlin record stores before establishing himself as one of electronic music's most versatile selectors. His sets range freely across disco, soul, house, techno and beyond, earning him a devoted following at clubs like Berghain and festivals like Dekmantel. His debut album 'Hunch Music' (Rush Hour, 2015) and the curated compilation 'Hunchin' All Night' (2018) are touchstones of the eclectic house world. He runs his own label Lifetones and, after a spell in Amsterdam, relocated back to Berlin in early 2024.
