Hermes Ahmadi is a Dutch-Afghan stand-up comedian and cabaret performer who started out in 2018. His debut show explores the question of who gets to feel welcome - drawing on his experience as an Afghan refugee navigating Dutch culture, from splitting bills to eating at friends' places. He reached the finals of both the Leeuwarder Cabaret Festival and the Leids Cabaret Festival.
