Henk Jonkers

About

Henk Jonkers is a Dutch drummer who co-founded The Fatal Flowers with Richard Janssen in Amsterdam in 1984. The band became one of the defining acts of the so-called 'Amsterdam guitar school' and won an Edison Award for their album Younger Days (1986). After the band split in 1990, Jonkers joined Hallo Venray, where he has held the drum chair since 1998. He reunited with The Fatal Flowers for their 2019 comeback tour and again for their 2026 festival run.
