Dutch punk legends Heideroosjes return with their 2027 tour, featuring a refreshed line-up and celebrating the anniversary of key albums.
Heideroosjes are a Dutch punk rock band from Horst aan de Maas in the province of Limburg, active since 1989. They broke through nationally at Pinkpop in 1995 and signed to Epitaph Records in 1998, going on to play over 1,500 shows across Europe, the US, Japan and South Africa. The band won a Dutch Edison award and is widely regarded as one of the most significant punk acts the Netherlands has produced. After disbanding in 2012 they returned in 2019; in 2025 bassist Fred Houben left following his arrest in a child pornography case.
Bassist Fred Houben was arrested in February 2025 in a child pornography case and left the band immediately.
Nirwana Tuinfeest 2025 replaced Heideroosjes in their line-up with Triggerfinger after the bassist's departure.
Heideroosjes celebrated their 35-year anniversary with new singles, a festival tour of nine shows, their own beer and special vinyl re-releases.
The band released the anniversary singles 'Blijven Schreeuwen' and 'Dirk neukt het systeem', both featuring an animation clip.
Heideroosjes performed at Paaspop 2024 and played both classics and new songs for a packed tent.
