About
Heather Nova (born Heather Allison Frith, Bermuda, 6 July 1967) is a singer-songwriter who grew up on her father's hand-built sailboat before settling in London. She adopted her stage name after Dutch audiences struggled to pronounce 'Frith' - Nova being her Canadian mother's maiden name. Her 1994 album Oyster and its single 'Walk This World' launched her European career, and she has since released fourteen studio albums with a particularly loyal following in Germany and the Benelux.
